The PUENTES Leadership & Resiliency Fellowship is an immersive ten-month program designed to cultivate the potential of Latin-Jewish leaders. It fosters a collaborative learning environment where fellows can connect with peers, exploring the fusion of Latin and Jewish cultures. The fellowship aims to enhance personal leadership philosophies, deepen understanding of intersectionality, and address internalized oppression. By engaging with educators and stories from both backgrounds, participants gain resilience-building skills, expand their community involvement, and emerge as empowered leaders ready to effect change.
ROOTAS Delegations are immersive travel experiences designed for community members who are passionate about exploring and engaging with Latin-Jewish culture. These unique cohort-based journeys bring participants together for 5-7 days to learn, connect, and delve into the rich history, vibrant culture, and peoplehood of diverse Latin American countries. With a focus on centering Latin-Jewry, two-thirds of each delegation consists of Latin-Jews, while one-third is made up of non-Latin-Jews who are committed to becoming ambassadors of Latin-Jewish culture. This dynamic composition fosters meaningful connections and mutual learning across identities, deepening participants' understanding of Latin-Jewish heritage.
Dedicated to fostering a deeper understanding and connection among communities, we create dynamic in-person and virtual events that honor Latin-Jewish heritage and promote cultural pride. Our programs prioritize identity wellness and invite participants to delve into the complexities of intersectionality and multicultural coexistence. We invite you to partake in our offerings, which include community feasts, culinary workshops, film showings, and rejuvenating retreats, available in various locations. Engage with us as we celebrate diversity and nurture collective wisdom through these enriching experiences.

The VOCES Project is our initiative focused on nurturing and amplifying Latin-Jewish storytelling, enriched by the personal narratives of individuals who identify with both cultures. We invite community members to share their unique experiences of navigating and embracing a multicultural identity. By contributing stories that reflect personal journeys and the legacies they wish to impart, participants help document the richness and complexity of our dual heritage. This project is an open invitation for voices eager to share and preserve the beauty of our shared stories.
The Rabbinic Council provides a vital platform for Latin-Jewish community members to connect with clergy who share their unique multicultural heritage. Comprised of Latin-Jewish rabbis, the council offers a diverse range of experiences and perspectives to support individuals in their journey of Jewish learning, growth, and spiritual connection. By bridging shared cultural roots and religious leadership, our Rabbinic Council fosters a deeper sense of belonging and understanding within the Latin-Jewish community.
Rooted in the diversity of Latin-Jewish identity, we curate in-house resources designed to deepen understanding of Jewish texts, holidays, values, and rituals, while integrating Latin American literature, historical perspectives, and cultural traditions. To encourage inclusive, cross-generational engagement, all our resources are available in English, Spanish and Portuguese, ensuring broad participation and meaningful conversation across our community.
The Jewtina Research Institute is a research center dedicated to deepening our understanding of Latin-Jewish peoplehood across the United States and Canada. Through the collection and analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data—including primary research, secondary data, and storytelling—this initiative captures the diversity, complexity, and richness of our community on a national scale. Our goal is to provide meaningful insights into the evolving identities and lived experiences of Latin Jews, ensuring that our voices are heard, our stories are honored, and our narratives help shape broader conversations about Jewish life and multicultural identity.
At Jewtina y Co., advocacy means elevating Latin-Jewish voices to meet the unique challenges and opportunities our community faces. Through intentional engagement, we champion gender justice, immigration reform, cultural inclusion, and build coalitions to disrupt antisemitism through a distinctly Latin-Jewish lens. We advocate for policies that advance equity and justice for both Latin and Jewish communities, ensuring that our intersectional identities are not just represented, but are powerful forces for change. By amplifying our stories, we help shape a more inclusive, resilient, and equitable world.
