The PUENTES Leadership Program provides selected participants with the opportunity to learn as a cohort four months. The goal of this program is to empower participants to examine intersectionality, sharpen their analysis of internalized oppression, develop tools for resiliency, grow in community and more confidently emerge as activists and community leaders.
The VOCES Project is our community storytelling initiative that aims to collect and elevate global narratives from people who identify as Latin and Jewish. All community members are invited to share their experience of navigating a multicultural identity by writing a personal story in blog format.
Committed to providing opportunities to learn and connect with one another, we design and facilitate in-person and virtual workshops that celebrate Latin-Jewish history and culture, center identity wellness, and engage communities in critical thinking about intersectionality and multiculturalism.
Inspired by the many ways in which to learn Jewishly, we design multi-sensory learning resources that encourage community members to explore Jewish texts, holidays, values and rituals at home, while also infusing Latin American texts and culture.
