NUESTRO NOMBRE: Our name, Jewtina y Co. (jo͞o-tēnə ē koh), denotes our Familia Jewtina's intersecting Jewish and Latin cultural identities, and the five values that root our organization.

MISIÓN: To shape inclusive, joyful and resilient Latin-Jewish communities by strengthening identity, leadership, and connection.

VISIÓN: We envision a vibrant Jewish future in which Latin Jews are empowered as leaders, fully seen and heard, and woven into the fabric of Jewish and Latin communities worldwide.

VALORES: Our organizational values are expressed through the following five COs:

CO-MUNIDAD (Kehilla / קְהִלָּה): Co-creating a kind, curious, joyful and respectful community where all Latin Jews belong, thrive and feel empowered to contribute.

CO-NSERVACIÓN (Shomrei Tarbut / Kavod HaBriot / שׁוֹמְרֵי תַרְבּוּת  כָּבוֹד הַבְּרִיּוֹת): Designing programs and resources that honor and preserve Jewish and Latin culture with dignity.

CO-LABORACIÓN (Arevut / עֲרֵבוּת): Examining inequities within the Jewish and Latino/e/x communities, and collaboratively working to make our communities free of oppression due to our unwavering belief in mutual responsibility.  

CO-NOCER (Limmud / לִמּוּד): Providing opportunities for the larger Jewish and Latine/o/x community to learn about Latin-Jewish history, heritage and peoplehood.

CO-NTINUAR (L'Dor V'Dor / לְדוֹר וָדוֹר): Working to ensure that future generations of Latin-Jews have histories and traditions they can easily access, implement and share.
