The Jewtina Institute is the research arm of Jewtina y Co., with a focused mission to deepen and expand our understanding of Latin-Jewish peoplehood. Through rigorous mixed-methods research, including both quantitative and qualitative data collection as well as secondary data analysis, the institute aims to capture the diversity, complexity, and richness of the Latin-Jewish community on a national scale. Our goal is to provide valuable insights into the evolving identities and experiences of Latin Jews and their families, ensuring that our voices are not only heard but meaningfully integrated into broader conversations that shape the future of our collective identity.
If you're passionate about Latin-Jewish peoplehood and would like to collaborate with the Jewtina Institute, or if you know of an exciting opportunity that aligns with our mission, we’d love to hear from you.
Portrait In Focus is a secondary data analysis research project designed to further explore the findings on the Latin-Jewish community from the 2021 Study of Jewish LA, commissioned by the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles. This project aims to provide deeper insights and a more nuanced understanding of the Latin-Jewish population, building on the foundation of the original study.
Shades of Belonging is a research project dedicated to better understanding the perspectives and lived experiences of Jewish Adoptees of Color who are now adults.
