DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS 2026 SPONSORSHIP / PARTNERSHIP

We invite you to join in this special celebration of two cultures — Judaism & Latinidad — whose traditions of memory run parallel. This event is co-presented by Jonah Platt, Jewtina y Co., and NuRoots, with additional community partners pending, including Ikar and Bet Tzedek.

Sunday, October 25th, 2026, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM PT, at the Goldrich Campus of the Holocaust Museum of LA (venue being confirmed with back up venues identified).

This is bridge-building celebration invites Latino/e and Jewish communities to share space, ritual, and tradition. It's multigenerational by design, with dedicated programming for kids and families, a young adult program built around a panel and marketplace, and shared moments — the community ofrenda, live music — that bring everyone into the same room. The marketplace itself doubles as a platform for local Latino and Jewish small businesses and artists to be seen by a community built to support them.

  • Family programming: arts & crafts, reading corner
  • Community ofrenda-building ceremony
  • Live mariachi and a folklórico dance performance
  • Live music and performances by Latin-Jewish artists
  • Curated vendor market of Latino and Jewish artisans and food purveyors
  • Cross-cultural menu featuring Jewish and Latino food and drinks

The Día de los Muertos Event is a community celebration for Latino and Jewish Angelenos of all ages — families, young adults, and allies who want to take part in a joint tradition of memory and gathering. We anticipate 250+ multigenerational attendees, building on last year's turnout of 200, and expect the crowd to reflect the genuine overlap and diversity of LA's Latino and Jewish communities.

We’d love to partner with you! We’re looking for event partners who will be involved in the planning process to shape the event, and share within their community networks. Partners will have their logo featured top placement on all signage and materials, a number of complimentary tickets, and recognition during programming, and opportunity for a representative to speak.
